Why get involved?

You have the opportunity to have a hand in guiding, shaping, and finding the workforce we need to propel offshore wind forward.

Did you ever receive any career support in your student journey? Now is the time to pay it forward! We make it easy.

By partnering with WindPath, you’ll become a WindPath Guide, part of a collaborative effort to guide students to create a skilled, motivated, and diverse talent pipeline to benefit the offshore wind industry in real-time.

The sign-up form has the following options. By signing up, your information will be known only to WindPath (not made public to students). WindPath will alert you when an opportunity to speak with students relevant to your area or expertise is found.

Mentoring graduating students – longer term, multiple sessions. Help students about to enter the job market with assisting them find best-fit job titles and companies, basic application advice, introductions, and other student needs.
Coffee chats – 1 hour occasional chats about your journey and role. Can be with one or more students, and is to help students validate career pathways and discover further resources for their journey.
Panelist – Small presentations to groups of students in webinars (or workshops) alongside other professionals – we have designed panels of 2-3 professionals to help students learn about career pathways and companies, as well as more specialized panels to help students with topics such as job applications.
Providing operational or content support to help WindPath’s mission grow – Help make introductions, help create and/or run student projects to help career exploration and skill development, create/gather educational content, and more as desired
